Honeymoon....Any Suggestions????

We're trying to decide on spots for a honeymoon. Any suggestions? We're thinking about Las Vegas and would love to get any input. We want to go somewhere that offers a relaxing day by the pool or a massage at the spa with great food and the option to go on some excursions if we choose to.

We're Engaged!

What a crazy weekend it has been! I can't believe we're actually engaged. It was such a great story, so here it goes...

...we suffered through a horrible episode of hibachi at restaurant we had never tried before. We managed to entertain ourselves (as always) by making keen observations about the staff and panel of 18 year old girls celebrating a birthday at our table.

I had been at the house all day (as I now work from home) and wanted to go to the mall just to walk around for a bit. I managed to drag him into 5 jewelry stores to look at rings and get ideas about the setting that I wanted. He was a good sport and acted extremely interested as he asked questions about cut, clarity, color and carat. I was rather disappointed because I didn't see anything that I like near as much as a ring we had looked at previously.

We headed home and he could tell that I was a little bummed. We drove home and I could see the front door when he says "I think I'd like a milkshake, how about you?" I'm in no mood for a milkshake, but am happy to ride along. He runs inside to take a potty break and says he'll be right back. I was a little suspicious when he returned wearing a jacket (it's 67 degrees outside) to drive through the window at Hardee's to get his mint chocolate chip milkshake.

We get his shake and pull out of the parking lot, but rather than turning left to go home, we take a right. I thought he would turn around, but decided to question this move as we got closer and closer to the water. He said he didn't think I was ready to go home and maybe we could take a walk. We ended up at the Boardwalk overlooking the bay on Scenic Highway. We walked around for a minute and I asked several questions about which lights were the beach and which were Milton.

After a few minutes of stargazing, I hear him say "Well, OK" and think he's going to suggest we get in the car to leave. I turn to face him and he has the ring box in his left hand. As he goes down to one knee, he stumbles and the box takes a 50 foot plummet into the crashing waves below. He is freaking out and I literally don't know what to say or do. At some point, I decide that maybe I can lie down on the boardwalk and stick my hand down off the railing far enough to reach the box. As I do this, I look up to see him on the other side of the railing (the side where there is no safety net!) and beg him to return to safety. I'm now sitting on my knees and decide to frisk his pockets to see if it's just a cruel joke. I look up at his face and say "did you really just do that?"

He then pulled me up to my feet and said "no, I didn't." Then he got down on one knee and pulled out the real ring box and asked me to be his wife. He says that I didn't say yes and he had to ask me again later, but I don't remember. All I know is that I wanted to kill him and kiss him at the same time!
